A Message from the current President, Don Jones
The Johnstown/Milliken Chamber of Commerce offers it's members many values. The Chamber will give your business or organization visibility in the community through various advertising opportunities, discounts, opportunities for sponsorship and networking opportunities with other Chamber members. Our goal is to help promote our members.
The Johnstown/Milliken Chamber, like all volunteer organizations, can provide as much benefit as the energy you put into it. Good things don't just happen because a person or an organization joins a chamber. Good things happen when you get involved.
Once a member, we encourage you to:
1) FREE business listing when you get on the website.
Provide us with your updated contact information including business name, address, phone, email and logo. Make sure you set up your member to member discount listing on the site. 2) FREE Ribbon cutting ceremony.
New and current Chamber members are invited to have a ribbon cutting ceremony. This is a great way to share information about your business with the community. Photos and announcements will be included on the web site. If you need to schedule a ribbon cutting or if you have any questions contact Olivia Eldred at (970) 587-2524 or olyld26@msn.com.
3) FREE member listing in the annual Community Directory with discounted advertising.
4) FREE insertion and delivery of marketing information in the Welcome bags that are delivered to all new residents of Johnstown & Milliken. If you have an question contact Beverly Kirkpatrick at (970)-587-9864
5) FREE use of the Chamber bulk rate permit for bulk mailings.
6) Networking events:
Business After Hours, Annual Members Banquet, Annual Member Meeting, Farmers Market, Trick or Treat Street, Business Expo & Children's Festival, Johnstown BBQ Days and Milliken's Beef n' Bean Day. These events serve as a way for you to network and become familiar with other area businesses.
7) Ambassadors:
Ambassadors are valuable members of the Chamber. They understand the value of the position and use it's power to promote their own business while representing the Chamber. They have developed relationships with in the Chamber and can help you get the resources that you need through the relationships.
